As a subcontractor EHS provided support of the Long Beach Convention Center site Unaccompanied Children (UC) Emergency Intake Facility. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) began operations for their Emergency Intake Shelter, located at the Long Beach Convention Center, for unaccompanied migrant children arriving from the southern border of Mexico. This program reunited 1,583 children that were under that age of 18 with their families.
